WELCOME SPRING

APRIL and the month we celebrate EASTER.  Hmmm…the very word brings a sense of peace and hope. It heralds Spring and our love of lighter evenings, birdsong, buds and flowers bursting forth in gardens, hedgerows and of course, the four-day weekend with a nice long time to rejuvenate, reflect, relax and welcome the next season.

With this month celebrating International Women’s Day on 8^th March, my mind turns to those women of substance I have known in my life.

I wonder who comes to mind when you think of great women? If you’re anything like me, you don’t have to travel too far from home. Although not with me anymore, I am so grateful to an incredible mother who inspired me with her inner beauty and grace, her fortitude and strength and her fierce loyalty for her family ...

If you’re anything like me, the start of February and coming of Spring is a sure motivation for getting up in the morning. Longer days, the vaccine breakthrough and a light at the end of the tunnel hopefully means we’ll all be able to be together again soon.

One of the greatest pleasures I have in life is a good walk and especially at the moment, it’s the main exercise that we all CAN do! There is always something spectacular in each season and this was me a few days ago ...

Welcome to 2021 dear friends of TEMPLESPA

I wonder how each of us felt when the clock struck midnight and 2020 became 2021?

We all lived our own version of last year, facing the challenges with highs and lows, learning to adapt and finding a way of bending and reacting to change and uncertainty.

As I reflect ...

While this year’s celebrations may be different for all of us, I am sure you’ll agree, this is still one of the most magical times of the year. For me, this year I’ve had the time to really plan and so far as presents are concerned, wrap them early (see my gift guide for great ideas at all price points), the Christmas cake and pudding have been made, the house is also being decorated early this year, our gifts neatly placed in our TEMPLESPA gift bags under the sparkling tree waiting ...

Don’t you just love this time of year? Early this morning I was walking along the beach as the sun rose and the sky and the air seemed to have its own special aura and feeling and the golden hue that comes from the changing foliage is just spectacular.

We don’t actually recognise Halloween, a rather strange and frightening concept I feel! We do however adore “Autumn-fest” and any opportunity to celebrate the wonderful pumpkin! In our household ...

None of us ever could have predicted the way 2020 has panned out. For us, it symbolised the 20th anniversary of TEMPLESPA. That speaks of parties, champagne, fabulous memories and inspirational speeches, to name but a few. Lockdown, isolation, masks, furlough, social distancing and sanitisation would be words associated with serious health issues, but in fact they have become the lexicon of society all over the world whether one is very well or very poorly.

I love a new product and when TEMPLESPA gets creative and dives into development, nothing excites me more.  The collaborative process, the inside out refinement (from texture to fragrance), the tenacity of our amazing team to ensure excellence and results-driven formulas, not to mention choosing a name!  Creating a new product is a very special process to witness and one I am always grateful to be a part of.
