Welcome to awesome August!
What a happy month of summer August is. Sunshine, shorts, salads, swimming, seaside and sizzling barbecues! We love it and for Mark and I, our August ends with our 48th wedding anniversary, but starts with glamping as we do every year, a chance to be with friends, enjoying the outdoors and late night chatter around the campfire.
It’s the month when our garden is overflowing with produce and we pretty much live off what we grow. There is nothing I love more than to wander into my garden after work and pull or pluck a random group of veggies and see what happens next for supper! I reckon as long as you have a good tasty dressing you can jazz up anything. Here are a few of my fave personal creations; each will provide around 4 servings and are super quick and simple to create.
