Welcome dear friends to summery, gorgeous July. Even if the sun isn’t shining, I love the optimism of this month. I swim every day and as soon as I get home from work, don my shorts and pad around the garden and house in my shorts and bare feet! Thank goodness for SOLE BALM as this nourishing foot treatment keeps my sandal feet with that ‘just pedicured’ look and feel – and it’s now 100% vegan!
One of the lesser-known festivals in July is National Picnic Month. As a child, I’m so glad that my parents would always make an adventure out of eating outside, going for a ‘ride out’ as they’d put it and tablecloth, blankets, picnic chairs and hamper were permanently in the boot so we could jump on a sunny day or evening. This has stayed with me and something Mark and I do as a regular ritual. I love the feeling of that early evening glow.
Speaking of GLOW, this category has become our fastest growing. We’ve been building up a strong portfolio of radiance and glow products and 0.5 million of you agree! So if you haven’t discovered them yet, permit me to give you a recce and go for the glow this summer. These products all contain a heavy dose of liposomal vitamin C, multi acids and clever brightening ingredients for that youthful radiance and glow.
A good GLOW regime will always start with a thorough cleanse. Launching EASY GLOWING late last year with much aplomb, it’s won the hearts of many across the UK and is fast becoming a top cleanser for us. With an initial texture like honey, it slips onto the skin easily and when massaged it transforms into an oil for a deeper cleanse and finally, water splashes it into a milk. Totally divine.
Follow this with GLOWCOLIC Resurfacing Toner, the first of our glow products that started a movement for us! With lactic, mandelic, hyaluronic and glycolic acids it is the turbo-charged toner that lifts deeply embedded impurities and nibbles dead skin, giving the skin a clean and radiant appearance. It’s also great for any spotty backs and arms that are on show this time of year.
A mask slots in perfectly here and MOST REVEALING splashed onto the scene in 2021 as our Glowing Skin Oxygen Peel. The wonderful orange gel texture fizzes on the skin as you massage it in and continues to bubble away, nibbling away at the dead skin cells and uneven skin texture and tone. The AHAs are the hero ingredients of this product, glycolic, malic, lactic and mandelic acids that work together to exfoliate away at the skin. Don’t forget to apply an SPF after using any product with AHAs in as the skin is more sensitive to the sun afterwards.
Next up is a serum that’s packed with vitamin C to restore a glow to the skin. Our LET’S CONCENTRATE serum-juice-texture melts into the skin and with a fusion of minerals, vitamins and actives, they help reduce hyperpigmentation and promote a clearer, smoother complexion. It’s my favourite morning serum for adding a burst of glow and hydration.
And completing our GLOW & RADIANCE range earlier this year is MOISTURE TO GLOW Radiance Moisturiser. Again restoring a healthy glow and radiance to the skin, it’s a dream to use as the silky gel texture applies so smoothly and instantly cools and absorbs into the skin.
