What is the first thing a customer should feel/see/smell when they arrive at your spa?

As soon as they arrive, we want our guests to feel welcome and relaxed. Our spa is light and uplifting with calming music, aromas of geranium, lavender, camomile, patchouli, frankincense and vetiver from our candles and diffusers and our friendly team to guide guests through their spa journey with us.

What is the one thing that you want your customer to remember and take away about your spa?

Ultimately, we want our guests to remember a really great experience and leave feeling relaxed, rejuvenated and restored. Our team of therapists are trained to guide guests through treatments and consult on any skin concerns to find the best products and practices for guests to introduce into their home care routine so they can continue their experience at home.

Which is your best-selling TEMPLESPA treatment and why?

The TEMPLESPA MY KINDA SKIN FACIAL is currently our most popular treatment as it can be tailor made to each individual client’s needs. Therapists love the variety this brings, and no two facials are the same.

What drew you to partner with TEMPLESPA treatment and products?

We’ve wanted to introduce a secondary product house for a while and were always drawn to TEMPLESPA as it’s so renowned within the industry. TEMPLESPA’s use of natural ingredients and sustainable packaging aligns with our ethos, treatments are driven by clinically proven formulas and the smell and textures of the products feel luxurious yet still have a modest price tag – they’re the perfect addition to our spa offering.

What is the typical customer experience at your spa?

Our spa guests range from our Health Club members and hotel residents to day spa guests – so wants and needs can be really diverse. Our hotel residents tend to pop down for some quiet time during their stay and enjoy lounging by the pool or up on the sun terrace during warmer months. As well as ample pool time, day spa guests indulge in treatments and our aromatherapy room as well as light refreshments and meals. Health Club members are usually using the pool, gym, attending classes and also like to have regular facials, manicures or pedicures and often browse our retail section.

What is your USP or biggest selling point as a spa?

We’re a privately-owned hotel, spa and golf resort set within the West Berkshire countryside. Many of our guests enjoy our diverse offering with award-winning dining, the option to play golf or relax in our spa and contemporary, comfortable rooms to retire to.

Which is your personal favourite TEMPLESPA product/TEMPLESPA Treatment and why?

We love using IN THE BEGINNING as it feels rich and luxurious on the skin. The smell is beautiful and it is a great product that you can incorporate into your daily routine.

What exciting developments do you have coming in 2024?

This year we focussed on bringing in a new product house, TEMPLESPA. We’ve had a busy couple of years with re-fitting the gym with Matrix gym technology and developing our team so the remainder of this year will be spent enjoying our new treatments and products before we get back to planning.

Anything else you’d like us to know about your spa?

To celebrate our new partnership, we’ll be offering a ‘Temple of Spa’ break until 31st August. This break includes a 25 minute TEMPLESPA facial, TEMPLESPA gift and candle as well as a delicious dinner in our award-winning restaurant, bed and breakfast for just £149 per person.
