What is the first thing a customer should feel/see/smell when they arrive at your spa?
The first thing you will see is our bespoke oak grand staircase designed by the hotel's owner, Dave Brewitt. This leads down to our beautiful glass reception desk, designed by artist Kat Cristou, and glowing with light. You will be greeted with a smile and the scent of our TEMPLESPA 'Keep the Peace' diffuser to relax and prepare you for your Hope Street Hotel Spa experience.
What is the one thing that you want your customer to remember about your spa?
Our spa is a place to enjoy the luxury of time, away from the cares of life - you can escape the hustle and bustle of the city without actually leaving. We want our guests to feel refreshed and revitalised after having had the perfect spa day in a beautifully designed space that blends original Victorian architecture with stunning contemporary interiors.
Which is your best-selling treatment and why?
Our best selling treatment is the 'Work it Out' massage - a clear favourite with therapists and guests due to its slow and firm pressure to alleviate muscle tension with the aid of the body-boosting blend of essential oils. After seeing how well our guests responded to this treatment we also added three more results-driven treatments - they spoke, we listened!
What drew you to partner with TEMPLESPA treatment and products?
We loved their treatment collection, the luxurious feel, and the aromatherapy nature of their products, that they are UK-made, the beautiful jewel-coloured packaging, and all the products smell amazing. We were also delighted to be their first North West partner!
What is the typical customer experience at your spa?
Our team delivers exceptional service, to ensure the guest experience is one of pure luxury. Our full day spa for example includes two 60-minute treatments or a longer signature treatment, lunch and a glass of fizz in the spa lounge and access to the extensive thermal journey until 5pm. Inside the thermal journey, our guests will enjoy herbal sauna, Himalayan salt sauna, aroma steam room, experience showers, ice bowl and water drench, tepidarium, 15-metre indoor swimming pool and courtyard vitality pool.
What is your USP or biggest selling point as a spa?
Our courtyard vitality pool has been a firm favourite since opening. It is heated to 37 degrees and is the perfect place to enjoy a glass of fizz - bubbles and warmth whatever the weather!
The Turkish Hammam is our stand-out treatment and makes us different from any spa in the region. TEMPLESPA created this brand new treatment just for us. Stretch out on our heated marble slab and be rinsed, exfoliated, lathered and oiled. We use gloves, silk pillow slips, aromatherapy cleansing bars and delicious Mediterranean essential oils. You will feel soft, smooth and totally relaxed. If you've ever wondered what it would feel like to be rubbed, scrubbed and lathered-up Turkish style, this is the one for you. After your treatment, enjoy Turkish tea and hand-made Turkish delight in our Serenity Lounge.
What is your personal favourite TEMPLESPA product or treatment and why?
Stacey Courtney – Spa Manager – TRUFFLE DE-LIGHT is my favourite product - I can’t imagine a day without using it. I love the weightless feel it has on the skin and the radiant glow it gives. It is a permanent fixture in my daily skincare routine.
Kelly McFadden – Spa Supervisor - My favourite treatment is the REPOSE facial because it uses the perfect combination of sleep-infusing techniques and aromatherapy blends. It is the ultimate facial to unwind which is why I recommend it to all guests.
