When we started our beautiful brand 25 years ago, we knew we wanted to add spa experiences to the variety of ways you can discover (and fall in love with) TEMPLESPA, and with Bailiffscourt being just a stone’s throw away from our Head Office, it was a perfect match for both of us. We’re so proud to have been their spa partner for over 20 years, and continue the magical journey of delivering relaxing, memorable and deeply indulgent treatments together.
Bailiffscourt is one of Historic Sussex Hotels, and one of the most beautiful spas in the south of England. Taking inspiration from nature, offering tranquillity and indulgence. The spa itself is built in the style of a Sussex barn, expansive windows looking out across the beautiful countryside and an array of facilities including heated indoor and outdoor swimming pools, sauna, steam and relaxation rooms and a beautiful outdoor sun lounger and outdoor relaxation area.

What is the first thing a customer should feel/see/smell when they arrive at your spa?
WOW is the first word we usually hear from our guests as they enter the Spa, followed by ‘what is that a glorious scent, it makes me feel instantly relaxed’ and of course, it’s the TEMPLESPA KEEP THE PEACE Relaxing Spa Diffuser.
What is the one thing that you want your customer to remember and take away about your spa?
That we care, and that our highly skilled therapists have listened to their needs to deliver a treatment that fits them, and leaves them feeling refreshed, renewed and relaxed.
Which is your best-selling TEMPLESPA treatment and why?
Without a shadow of a doubt, our TEMPLESPA massages: DRIFT AWAY and WORK IT OUT – both beautifully curated with matching oils that really soothe and detoxify.
What drew you to partner with TEMPLESPA treatment and products?
We are proud to have partnered with TEMPLESPA for over 22 years, and to have been their first spa partner– we share similar values, are both beautifully British and family owned and managed.
What is the typical customer experience at your spa?
Fabulous, fulfilling and more than a little bit indulgent!
What is your USP or biggest selling point as a spa?
Floating beneath the stars in our outdoor heated infinity pool is hard to beat -particularly while listening to the waves on nearby Climping beach
Which is your personal favourite TEMPLESPA product/TEMPLESPA Treatment and why?
WELL BALANCED – we love the new formulation since it replaced MOISTURE MATTE – and we also love the WORK IT OUT massage – the new oil smells divine and the treatment really does work out all of the tension in your body!
What’s been the standout moment for your spa so far?
A day in the life of a Spa is full of standout moments but we did particularly enjoy being crowned ‘Spa of the Year’.
What exciting developments or additions do you have coming in 2025?
We are creating some lovely Wellness Retreats at Bailiffscourt, including Starry, Starry Night to embrace the art of mindful stargazing.
